Microbridge Announces Rejustor Application Design Challenge

Grand Prize: 2008 Mini Cooper or Harley Davidson Motorcycles

Montreal, Canada - September 10, 2007 - Microbridge Technologies, Inc., the leader in innovative advanced resistor technology, today announced the 2007 Rejustor™ Application Design Challenge. The Microbridge Rejustor Application Design Challenge (the "Challenge") is an opportunity for entrants to create and submit design entries suggesting and describing novel circuit design ideas for any of the low-cost Rejustor devices available from Microbridge. As the name suggests, Rejustors are highly precise re-adjustable resistors. The Challenge, which will be launched on September 10, is only open to legal residents of the United States and Canada excluding Quebec.

Grand Prize — Mini Cooper or Harley Davidson
The Grand Prize winner will select from either a 2008 standard equipped Mini Cooper (approximate retail value of prize: US$19,000) or a pair of 2008 standard equipped Harley Davidson touring motorcycles model "XL883" (approximate retail value of prize: US$14,000). The Grand Prize Winner will have the option of receiving one of the prizes above (either the Mini Cooper or the Harley Davidson) or a one-time cash payment of ten thousand dollars (US$10,000).

Second Prizes — 56" HDTV
Two Second Prize winners will each receive a Samsung 56" LCD HDTV. Approximate retail value: US$3,000.

Third Prizes — Nintendo Wii Video Game System
Seven Third Prize winners will each receive a Nintendo Wii Video Game Console. Approximate retail value: US$500.

Microbridge will promote certain entries and/or the Challenge winners in press and industry outreach and advertising, as well as in Microbridge newsletters. Microbridge will also create a compilation of certain design entries as a compendium of ideas for its Rejustor devices, and as a resource for the industry at-large.

"This is a great opportunity for someone to get noticed in what has become a competitive industry for top talent," said Bob Frostholm, vice president, Marketing and Strategic Alliances at Microbridge. "The competition is also a great way to highlight the wide array of applications Rejustors are suitable for, from precision analog compensation in military, aerospace and satellite applications to optical systems, engine sensors and tire-pressure monitor in automotive applications. The universal applicability of the Rejustor devices should stimulate some very creative thinking and we are expecting to discover several new applications we haven't thought of yet."

The Challenge period begins on September 10, 2007 at 12:01 AM Eastern time and ends on December 31, 2007 at 11:59 PM Eastern time. Entries submitted by mail in connection with this Challenge must be postmarked by December 15, 2007 and received by December 31, 2007.
