Microbridge Scores $5M Addition To Series B. ![]()

Montreal -- Microbridge Technologies, a Canadian company whose technology helps electronics companies cut manufacturing costs, has closed a $5 million extension of its Series B round.
The fresh capital brings its total venture financing to $12.5 million. Backers include Zon Capital Partners, Business Development Bank of Canada, Solidarity Fund QFL, Schneider Electric Ventures and Multiple Capital Inc., which is investing on behalf of a Coller Capital affiliate.
The chip company, which is based in Montreal and has offices in Burlington, MA and Sunnyvale, CA, said it will use the financing to expand sales and marketing and to increase strategic alliance and licensing efforts. Microbridge makes adjustable resistors used in power supplies, sensors and other electronics components.
