MICROBRIDGE REJUSTOR™ WINS PRESTIGIOUS BEST OF SENSORS EXPO AWARD FROM SENSORS MAGAZINE AT THIS YEAR'S SENSORS EXPO & CONFERENCE IN DETROIT

Top Honors Go to Products Expected to Impact the Future of Products, Systems, and Daily Life

DETROIT, MI, JUNE 15, 2004 – The editors of Sensors magazine presented the Best of Sensors Expo Awards at last week's Sensors Expo & Conference held in Detroit.

Microbridge was awarded a Silver Award for its innovative Rejustor™ technology which permits the electrical adjustment of passive micro-resistors.

The editors and key industry advisors evaluated the entries using several criteria, including potential impact on the way people work, timeliness and availability, distinctiveness, and the ability to serve a real need. "These awards highlight products that have the greatest potential to change the way people work and live," said Barbara G. Goode, Editorial Director for Sensors and Frontline Solutions Magazines. "Because these products work behind the scenes, most of us do not fully appreciate their impact, but that fact makes it no less real." Gold, silver, and bronze awards were presented to 18 products during this year's event.

"The sensor industry is the first target market for our technology" said Mike Foster, President and CEO of Microbridge "so an award from such a prominent organization is a tremendous vote of confidence in our Rejustor technology and its practical usefulness"

· The Rejustor is made to trim passive micro resistors—up or down in value, thousands of times—to a few ppm precision. Added to this the ability to adjust the TCR (Temperature Coefficient of Resistance) and this technology provides a totally novel, low cost means of adjusting analog electronics. In the sensor industry it provides a unique way of setup, calibration and thermal compensation of sensing devices.

Sensors Expo marked the introduction of Rejustor devices which are now available in sample quantities with the Rejustor Evaluation Kit. The kit, which sells for $2,500 includes a limited license to Microbridge's Rejust-it software and permits users to become familiar with the technology, to trim and test the devices in their own products and to begin the design-in process.

Production will commence in early 2005 and dual Rejustor devices will be available in volume (>1M) at under $0.40, as packaged devices, chip-scale packaged devices and bare die. Integrated into analog semiconductor devices the cost per unit will be substantially less.

About Microbridge Technologies
Microbridge Technologies, Inc. is an early stage technology company specializing in micro-systems technology for electronics, micro-devices and sensor-based systems. Microbridge uses micro-thermal devices based on conventional silicon integrated circuit technology to create solutions in a variety of industries. The devices involve a micro-membrane with embedded micro-heater, suspended over a cavity in a silicon chip. These structures form the basis for a broad family of products in the form of electronically adjustable resistive micro-devices that provide an unprecedented combination of high precision, price, and ease of use.
